THE bird called chichingkotey is local language is what u see here. there are lots of birds visiting the cherry tree in our school compound. it has riped fruits on it. the colours and the shape and the dance and sound of the birds really makes one appreciate the Nature.N I HAVE TRIED TOO

It started in Sombarey PS in the backyard volley ball court. A tournament of Inter police station volley ball tournament of PS of west district of Sikkim.in which Sombarey PS and Kaluk PS has reached the final which will be played at Gyalshing PS. on monday 16th April 2012 . the match was played in the presence of SP west, Sdpo soreng, SDPO gyalshing and in charge of all police station of west district.

MODEL HOUSE Inaugurated

On 29th March 2012 a model house was inaugurated in Lower Thambong GPU under Daramdin Block. The single story RCC building was awarded to beneficiary Mr. Prem Sing Limboo which is one of the 27 such model house completing soon in the block. The Inauguration was done by the hon’ble area MLA Mr. Tenzi Sherpa in the presence of Joint Secretary Co-ordination and former Dy- CM Mr. D.B. Gurung, BDO Mrs. Bhuvuti Pradhan, CLC President Mr. Pravitra Rai, Panchayat President of Lower Thambong GPU and Rumbuk GPU. AE a and JEs of RMDD, Member of CEC and CLC along with the local public . In the Speech Area MLA said the completion of one house of the poor is like the dream come true of the Hon’ble Chief Minister and urge the owner to live up to his expectation. The BDO highlighted about the scheme and said that the completion is collective effort of the local NGO, the technical team, party workers and the beneficiary . She added soon 27nos of such house will be inaugurated in her block.
After the inauguration programme Area MLA, JS Co-ordination, members of CEC and CLC visited Govt. Sr. Sec. school Sombarey and met with Principal, School Managing Committee and the staff. He discussed about the shortage of teachers, and other necessities of the school. Area MLA assured the early arrival of the teaching staff and one Green House for the technical support to student of the Horticulture steam.
