KRANTI DIWAS

22nd June was observed as Kranti Diwas all over Sikkim and in his regard a programme was organized by the SDF Party Daramdin constituency , west Sikkim. The Programme was venue at Sombarey Hath shed. Despite of heavy rainfall in the forenoon a huge crown of about 500 supporter, youth wing, cheli morcha, all panchayat , block level committee and constituency level committee were present . In the programme Mr. M.L. Rai ex political adviser (STCS), president Constituency level committee (CLC) was the chief guest, who in his speech turned over the pages of history of SDF party and compared those day with the present day and facilities provided now by the present government. Mr. K.B. Thegim president lower Thambong GPU, described that the kranti now is not fight with weapon but a fight against poverty, fight against anti development element of the state and fight to make Sikkim economically sound like Switzerland and is not an ordinary fight. Another speaker Mr. Suk man Subba President CLC Youth wing also expressed his commitment toward the SDF party and urged youth to come forward and take positive participation in the development of the state. The message of the HCM was read out by Mr. Sangey Sherpa Panchayat Secretary Tikpur GPU. Other present were Mr. A.L Sherpa Treasurer District level Committee (west), Ms. Phur Diki Sherpa Vice convenor Cheli Morcha, Mr. P. B. Rai Vice President CLC Daramdin, Mr. D. K. Pradhan General Secretary CLC Daramdin and others.
