FIRST NEPALI TO PASS NET IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION



A young and dynamic tribal boy, Master Awashes Subba from Singla TE Darjeeling get through the highest educational hurdle in national level. It was a dream come true for him and his parents and history for Nepali Community and inspiration for those young who wants to pursue sports as career. He is youngest child to Mr. M.B. Subba and Lt. Saraswati Subba.
He was very talented from his childhood and was selected for SAI and got his training from SAI hostel Lebong Darjeeling. After his schooling in St. Michel school and RKSP Darjeeling, he got his Bachelors Degree in Arts from St. Joseph’s college. Meanwhile, he got his excellence in football and played Santosh Trophy 2004 for Sikkim, his Majesty’s Birthday cup 2000 for Darjeeling Eleven in Kathmandu , Kolkata professional League 2003-04 for Peerless club kolkata, inter university football tournament for North Bengal university and Kalyani university Kolkata and First Division League 2004 for United Sikkim Club. His interest in sports made him join Kalyani University Kolkata for B.P. Ed. and then M.P. Ed. which his got through in first division. He passed SSC west Bengal 2009 and got appointed in Gandhi High School Bagdaggra as PE Teacher. He prepared his NET exams from his small and cozy room in Shivmandir, Siliguri and got through it . He says career should match with the interest and passion so that it provide ample opportunities to enhance and contribute his worth to the organization and widen the spectrum of the knowledge.
