My son Ankit Pradhan started going to school from 12th Feb 2009 .He is 2.5 years old. see his pic and bless him .He is going to Model Englsih School Naku dara Sombarey West Sikkim.He is quite a good boy and loves going to school. He is younest kid in the school and is center of love and kiss. most of the students are running around him in the break and before morning assembly. He carrries more sweets than book to school.

manghim - limbu temple

The establishment day of YUMA MANGHIM Martalong below Sombarey was celebrated today on the auspicious day of Maaker Sangkrati on 14^th Jan 09. The place is holy place of Limbu community to worship their supreme Goddess (Yuma- Booju devta) since 1997 , previously the huge rock beside was used for it. The celebration is organized every year and this year too the Celebration Committee Yuma Sakhung Samjunpho Sombarey presented traditional cultural show like- Chakbroung Dance, Yo Lang ( Dhan Nach), and Nagara drum beating and the religious performance by witch doctor called Phadangmas, and yeabas. The chief guest of the day Ms. Chandra Maya Limboo Zilla Adkshaya West District, in her speech emphasized on preserving the tradition and culture of Limboo Tribes and appealed the old peoples to inculcate the respect, interest to learn and work for the flourish of the rich culture of Limboo tribes to the younger generation. Mr. R. B Subba MLA Chairman STCS was Special guest. other present was Mr. M.k Khewa HM Tharpu SSS, Mr. A.B. Subba HM Lungchok JHS, H.D. Subba AEO BAC Daramdin, Mr. P.K. Subba PGT SSS Sombarey, Mr. C.P Subba PGT Bhurikhop SSS, AE Power, Mr. Deepak Subba Panchayat President Rumbuk GPU, other teachers, Panchayats and about 1000 peoples of the area.

GRAM SABHA RUMBUK GPU

On 29^th Nov. 2008 the Gram Sabha in Rumbuk-Bhuriakhop Gram Panchayat unit was held to decide utilization of the fund fro developmental propose in the GPU. The meeting started with the detail of expenditure and utilization report of last Gram Sabha and some remaining fund . For this session there was 7,50000/- fund from different department to be used in concerned developmental programme for the GPU. The President of GPU welcomed the gathering . BDO Daramdin BAC Mr. Rajiv Roka in his speech first congratulated all the villagers of GPU on being awarded Nirmal gram Purasker and also said about the importance of the gram sabha .he urged all the present to take part in the discussion actively so that the decision be the best for the development of the village. He also requested to support for the most needed person and area. He added the work decided should also be looked after by the villager for quality control. He suggested the Panchayat president to send so-called notice to all the officer who was not present in the gram sabha despite being invited month ago. The discussion was held in which protective wall at upper Rumbuk, CC footpath connecting school and Panchayat ghar via midday meal kitchen for middle Rumbuk, irrigation canal for lower Rumbuk, Khacha Bridge at Moonew, Drinking water Connection for Nasa ward, potato seed and training for the GPU and 1 person each will get house repair from each ward was decided. Later Medical Officer Dr. Nymgal Bhutia gave information after illegal medical practice like Prenatal diagnosis Test (PNDT) and sex ratio of Sikkim than Assistant Director HRDD BAC Daramdin explained about the School managing committee and the importance of public participation in school system. He informed that the SSA has provided some fund for the minor repair in the school. He also inform the gathering that department has decided to make English specking compulsory in the school campus. Other present in the Sabha was AE, JE BAC Daramdin, AEO HRDD, HM JHS Rumbuk, Block Programme Manager , teacher and about 300 public.

MY SON

My son –ANKIT MANI PRADHAN is the second child and the only son of mine he is 2 years old and is very cute . He loves playing football and watching Mr. Bean and Chotta Bhim carton in pogo channel. See some of his photo . with love we call him ballay. He is everyone's joy and often keeps moving from one neighbour ato another .
