I am at Namchi, South Sikkim - the one of the most rapidly growing town of Sikkim ( birth place of Present CM).The reason of myself being here is that my daughter is sick and is hospitalized at the district Hospital Namchi. I had not been to Namchi since 2006 after the birth of my son that was in nov. 2006. The place has taken a drastic change since than the hospital has been added with the new building and it is working as the child ward . The shopping complex is also coming up there at the place of old hat ghar, and char dham almost complete . The central park of the place is developed at the heart of the market. Felt like sharing some of the photo taken at the central park in day and night, hope you like it and wanna visit NAMCHI.

khul puja

we celebrated the kul puja at our upper Rumbuk land . we had been doing this puja since we know and will go on . As our father and elder says that we use to do this puja with buffalo than with goat and now we do it with cock only. demand of time may be . The most interesting thing about it is not only getting together with all family to the puja place and eating fire burnt meat but the forecast about the heath and other happening in the family that is shown with the egg that each family bring for puja. If it is clean it is fine , if blood is there than death and if small patch of red colour than illness. and to my surprise it has till date came true. So I felt like sharing some photos .
